Hi, I’m Courtney—a mental health therapist dedicated to helping individuals move through trauma, grief, and life’s challenges with compassion and strength. I work with children (ages 5+), teens, and adults, and I welcome clients of all genders, races, and backgrounds into a space that is inclusive, safe, and supportive. I hold a Master of Science in Education in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Western Illinois University. I am nationally certified (NCE-accredited) and licensed as a tLMHC in Iowa and an LPC in Illinois.

Hi there, I'm Lauryn Youngers, MSW, LMSW. I’m so glad you’re here. I work primarily with children ages 3–13 who may be navigating challenges such as anxiety, behavioral concerns, big emotions, or difficult life transitions. My goal is to create a warm, supportive space where children feel safe, comfortable, and understood. My approach to therapy is centered around building strong, trusting relationships. I believe meaningful growth begins when children feel seen and supported, so I prioritize meeting each child exactly where they are. I sometimes describe myself as a “shoes off” therapist—warm, relaxed, and supportive. Sessions often include creativity, humor, and play, because therapy doesn’t have to feel intimidating to be effective.
As a school social worker, I have experience supporting children and families as they navigate challenges both in the classroom and at home. I use play-based, strengths-focused approaches to help children better understand their emotions, build coping skills, and grow in confidence. I received both my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Social Work and my Master of Social Work from St. Ambrose University.
I know it can be really difficult to watch your child struggle. You don’t have to navigate that alone.
